Outer floral is true vintage from Nonna. Likely a polyester. It's a tight weave with some stiffness to it. 

Inner fabric is a soft deep blue velour. 

2 plastic snap buttons on the top. 

Another way to use these fun dead-stock fabrics. I use the copious samples I've had to make as computer cases, for items like a blowdryer + parts, silky undergarments, as travel cubes, anything really. My mom uses hers to put her indoor shoes in when going to someone's house. 

Both my Nonnas were prolific seamstresses and the outer fabric came from my mom's mom. It was likely used for drapes at some point.

Machine wash in gentle cycle, cold water, and let air dry. Lightly iron to get out wrinkles, though they will disappear with use.
