I wasn't able to find any (internet) info on Charlotte H. Bradley, but this work's warm rural scene and rich vintage framing leave plenty to admire regardless of the painter's popularity. The perfect mate to the harbour scene, this work shows another dawn (or dusk?!) sky done in a vibrant yellow. Again, the shading in the sky, maple trees, and snowy ground show Bradley's skill, and highlight a lovely composition directed by a winding path. If you look at it long enough you can almost smell the saccharine maple air.
